Welcome!!

Wow my first ever blog, how exciting! Well I am pretty handy with a pair of scissors and a hairdryer but not so much with computers, which is why it has taken me so long to set up my blogsite. I know how scary it is to try a new hairdresser so thought by doing this blog you can get to know a little bit about me and what I do. So here goes........... I started my hairdressing career at Toni & Guy in Henley-on-Thames in England, where i stayed for a little over 3 years in which time i completed my NVQ in hairdressing and my Toni&Guy vardering certificate.I then left there but stayed within the company moving to Essensuals Toni&Guy in Guildford, England where i was swiftly promoted to senior stylist and then style director after 1year. During this time I really threw myself into my hairdressing work, participating in lots of courses and took on the roll of staff trainer.After almost 2years in Guildford I was then swept off my feet by my now husband Matt who brought me out to Australia for an exciting new life!! I then decided I wanted to try something different so left the Toni&Guy chain and went to work for a fabulous boutique salon in Rozelle, Sydney called Velvet and brown. Here I learnt soooooo much and really broadened my knowledge in colour work and upstyling. I am sad to leave there after 4years but am very excited for the next chapter in my life as K C Creative in beautiful Byron Bay!!!!  Once I get to grips with uploading photo's I will be able to display more of my work for you to view.
